SeaLink is looking for Marine Ferry Engineers (MED 2) or above

We are currently seeking an experienced casual Marine Ferry Engineer to join our Operations here in South East Queensland.
- Ensure safe and secure operations at all times
- Work harmoniously within the team and remain professional at all times.
- Be available at short notice to work when there is operational needs require
These key requirements will be complimented by experience and skills in the following areas:
- Current MED 2 or Higher - Desirable
- Senior First Aid - Essential
- Driver’s License - Essential
- Confined Space and BA Qualification - Desirable
- Demonstrated computer skills - Essential
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail
About the role
This casual position in our team creates an opportunity for you to join an award winning tourism and transport company with an excellent reputation in quality products and professional customer service.
The position will be responsible for the maintaining of machinery of Vessels including maintenance and servicing and assisting with the loading of the vessels, safety of passengers and safe operation of the Vessel.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience and strong knowledge of regulations and legislation applicable to Vessel operations.
This role requires dedication, energy, commitment, initiative, teamwork, multi-skilling and time management.
This is a casual position.
