Captain Cook Cruises/Bells Functions is looking for  Cook / Kitchenhands to join our vibrant kitchen team.

 

This is a casual position.

 

About you:

 

To be successful you must:

  • Be able to work within a fast paced small team without supervision (Essential)
  • Be available to work a minimum of 25 hrs per week on a flexible roster, including nights and weekends (Essential)
  • Food preparation and  minimum of 1 year experience working in a commercial kitchen (Essential)
  • Have excellent communication skills (Essential)
  • Be a team player (Essential)
  • Experience in the Tourism and or Hospitality Industry (Desirable)

About the role:

 

This position in our team creates an opportunity for you to join an award winning tourism and hospitality company with an excellent reputation in quality products and professional customer service.

 

Working with the guidance of a senior chef, you will provide exceptional guest experiences and ensure that all food preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are carried out according to established recipes and departmental policies and procedures. You will maintain strict hygiene and safety procedure reporting to the Head Chef.

 

As a high-profile tourism business, the successful candidate will be required to work flexible working hours when required, including days, nights, public holidays and weekends.
