Mainland Porter/Guest Relations Agent (GRA)

We are in search of a professional Guest Relations Agent/Porter to join our diverse team of tourism lovers, based at our River Heads Mainland Office… do you think you have what it takes?


A few essentials about you…

  • Have a professional outlook in the workplace and show an invested interest in the hustle and bustle of the Hospitality/Tourism industry
  • Ability to work autonomously or in teams – proven ability to work unsupervised
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative at work
  • Ability to effectively communicate with other resort departments
  • Take pride in your customer service abilities to ensure our guests’ experience is one to remember! Offering guests a professional level of service in a relaxed and friendly environment
  • Immaculate grooming and presentation
  • Great time management skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Customer pickups and drop offs from various locations
  • Meet and greet customers
  • Efficiently pick up and deliver luggage to barge sailings
  • Efficiently pick up arriving guest luggage and pack luggage truck for departing barge.
  • Liaise with Skipper and barge staff for the safe loading and unloading of vessel
  • When requested assist Mainland office with check in, check outs, answering incoming calls.
  • Washing and cleaning buses, and trucks on a regular basis 
  • Daily Vehicle Checks
  • Abide by all Workplace Health and Safety rules and regulations at all times
  • Any reasonable additional duties as directed

A few simple role requirements…

  • A valid Police Clearance (dated within 6 months or less), or the ability to obtain one for work
  • A valid manual MR licenceessential to the role
  • A valid Drivers Authorityessential to the role
  • The availability to work across a broad rostering system, over a 7 day working week
  • The availability to work during peak seasonal periods
