We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Assistant Accountant.  Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the reconciliations, assisting in payroll processing, revenue reporting, accounts receivable, EOM processing and ABS reporting.

About the role:

• Liaise with debtors, management staff & accounting teams across business units
• Ensuring invoicing is correct
• Ensure charges are processed in a timely manner
• Generate statements for end of month reporting
• Processing payment runs
• Generate financial reporting statements including weekly bank reconciliations
• Weekly Payroll duties
• Assist the credit manager with accounts receivable functions as required.
• Assist the accounts team with other adhoc reconciliations and data collation

To be successful you will possess:

• Minimum 3 years Industry experience in a similar role
• Ability to multitask and prioritise your workload
• Proven computer literacy
• Advanced Excel, Accpac/ Sage Accounting, HR3 Payroll (would be an advantage)
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Must be flexible and adaptable
• Enthusiastic attitude and team orientated
