So, what are we looking for?

 

We are in search of a professional Front Office Guest Service Agent to join our diverse team of Hospitality & Tourism lovers… do you think you have what it takes?

 

 A few essentials about you…

  • Previous Team Leader or Supervisory experience within the Front Office department, or similar - will be looked upon favourably  
  • Have a professional outlook in the workplace and show an invested interest in the hustle and bustle of the Hospitality & Tourism industry
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed customer expectations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Take pride in your customer service abilities to ensure our guests’ experience on island is one to remember! Offering guests a professional level of service in a relaxed and friendly environment
  • Demonstrated reservations and customer service experience, including guest arrival and departure procedures
  • Ability to think on your feet, and solve problems that may arise throughout your day
  • Ability to achieve and exceed sales goals through highly developed promotional skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Great time management skills and proven ability to demonstrate initiative in the workplace
  • You will work closely with the Duty Manager, Front Office Manager and Rooms Division Manager in ensuring our resort guests are provided the highest level of customer service
  • Immaculate personal grooming and presentation

 

A few simple role requirements…

  • A valid Queensland RSA – or the ability to obtain one for work
  • A valid Police Clearance (within 6 months or less), or the ability to obtain one for work
  • A valid First Aid Certificate – not essential, but will be looked upon favourably
  • The ability to relocate into the Staff Village on Fraser Island for work
  • The ability to work across a broad rostering system, over a 7 day working week

 

Moving to Fraser Island…

This involves moving into the Staff Village, located within the grounds of the Resort, and sharing the Village facilities with approximately 50 like-minded team members.
