So, what are we looking for?


We are in search for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our Performance & Culture Team… do you think you have what it takes?


Key responsibilities include...

  • Assist in the effective implementation of all Engagement strategies throughout the group
  • Compile effective & relevant reports regarding Engagement & Training trends within each operational area of the business on a regular basis with an emphasis on actionable issues
  • Provide strategic advice to senior management regarding the trends identified via engagement activities which will improve business outcomes
  • Actively support managers in the implementation of engagement strategies to ensure they are effective
  • Ensure Group induction information is kept up to date & is effectively presented as required
  • Provide support to team members throughout the organisation in regard to performance management
  • Ensure all training & development operations are maintained & up to date in all relevant Human Resources related databases
  • Action strategic direction for all training and agreeing training plans for all areas
  • Liaise with third party training providers regarding the provision of training programs for team members in all area of the business
  • Seek funding opportunities for training initiatives & manage the claims & invoicing for same.
  • Maintain staff training matrixes across the group
  • Coordinate and present orientations for new team members across the group

A few essentials about you…

  • A minimum of 2 years previous experience in Human Resources, preferably within a Hospitality / Tourism environment
  • Proven experience working within a fast paced environment that is subject to regular change
  • Capable of providing people focused HR support that ensures the delivery of business
  • objectives without compromising HR policies and procedures or endangering psychological wellbeing
  • Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Docs
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Ability to uphold confidentiality and discretion
  • A valid Police Clearance (within 6 months or less), or the ability to obtain one for work
  • The ability to work across multiples sites
  • The ability to work during peak seasonal periods eg. school holidays

Desired role requirements…

  • 5 years employment experience within a Human Resource Management role within Hospitality / Tourism environment

  • Ability to think strategically whilst being equally comfortable working in a hands-on environment
  • A passion to drive and foster a culture of continuous quality improvement
  • A current Australian Driver’s License
