About the Role


We are in search of a professional Property Administrator, reporting to the Maintenance Manager; to join our diverse team of Hospitality and Tourism lovers.


As a live off island team member, we provide you with free of charge travel to and from the island.


Key responsibilities include…

  • Daily provision of secretarial and administrative support to the Maintenance Manager
  • Prioritising allocation and control of tasks for the overall maintenance team
  • Follow up with the maintenance team to ensure the completion of all allocated tasks, within the time frame and within job restrictions
  • Meet critical timelines to meet the performance needs of the maintenance department
  • Ordering stock, materials and controlling their distribution as required
  • Completing all villa owner and body corporate charges on a monthly basis – regular data entry required
  • Organising and allocating meter reads on a monthly basis in all areas of the resort
  • Submission of invoices into CHECKEAM to be sent to the accounts department for payment
  • Close liaison with the Villa Coordinator on a weekly basis
  • Management of privately owned villa regarding their maintenance requests and actions
  • Liaise with all departments throughout the resort in relation to maintenance requests

A few other role responsibilities…

  • General daily administration duties
  • Receive enquiries, visitors and telephone calls on a daily basis and divert accordingly
  • Management of departmental rosters and shift approvals
  • Liaise with contractors re organising their bookings for resort work, booking in barges and accommodation as required
  • Demonstrate awareness of OH&S policies and procedures

About You

  • Effective time management and the ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Displays a high commitment to delivering departmental outcomes within timeframes and budgets
  • Be able to follow procedures effectively
  • Self-starter, can-do attitude
  • Product knowledge for tools of trade
  • Able to work unsupervised and make decisions within set guidelines
  • Accurate and efficient in data entry and record keeping
  • Exceptional personal grooming and presentation

  • Meticulous attention to detail – looking further than the obvious
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative at work
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all resort departments
  • The ability to work during peak seasonal periods
  • The ability to travel to and from the island daily for work

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • A valid Police Clearance (within 6 months or less), or the ability to obtain one for work
  • A valid manual driver’s licence
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Exceptional organisational, written and numerical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite programs
  • Demonstrates a high level of communication and interpersonal skills
