So, what are we looking for?

We are in search for professional Sales & Reservations Consultants to join our dedicated Central Reservations Call Centre team based in the heart of Brisbane… do you think you have what it takes?

 

 A few essentials about you…

  • Have a professional outlook in the workplace and show an invested interest in the hustle and bustle of the Hospitality and Tourism industry
  • Proven professional customer service and sales skills
  • Ability to manage conflict resolution
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and reflect a proactive approach to the workplace
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Proven ability to multitask with successful and methodical approach to time management
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and direction
  • Proven ability to work to, achieve and exceed KPI targets
  • Take pride in your customer service abilities to ensure our guests’ experience on island is one to remember!

 

A few simple role requirements…

  • Ensuring all guest enquiries are dealt with professionally and in a timely manner
  • Responding to and managing all incoming email, iHotelier and online enquiries including both direct and agent enquiries and bookings
  • Daily data entry into reservations systems
  • Upselling and optimising occupancy
  • Daily reconciliation of banking processes
  • Management of overflow incoming telephone assistance when required
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Extraordinarily high level of customer service and work ethic
  • A valid Police Clearance if required, or the ability to obtain one for work
  • The ability to travel to and from Hervey Bay and Fraser Island as required
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary by your Supervisor or Manager

 

So, what do we offer…

  • You will be reporting virtually to our Customer Service and Sales Manager, based in the Hervey Bay office
  • This position is based in the heart of Brisbane CBD, on Queen Street
  • It is a permanent pat-time position, and flexible working hours are offered
  • Working days include Monday – Friday, with no weekend or Public Holiday work required, however initial training may require flexible working days/hours
  • We provide you with 4 weeks pro rata annual leave with 10 days pro rata sick leave, annually
  • 6 months’ probation period
  • This position requires travel to and from Hervey Bay and Fraser Island during the initial training stage, and where required based on the business needs
