Kitchen Steward
Fraser Island

Multi-Award winning Kingfisher Bay Resort & Village located on world heritage listed Fraser Island.


We are seeking dynamic and energetic Kitchen Steward to join our team.


Reporting to the Chief Kitchen Steward you will be responsible for maintaining kitchen cleanliness across multiple outlets throughout the Resort. 


Role Responsibilities, but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrated experience in a kitchen stewarding role
  • Cleaning requirements in the back of house Kitchen area
  • Ability to work across multiple outlets 
  • Efficient and effective time management skills
  • Rinse dirty crockery and cutlery, stack in the dishwasher, unload and put away & wash pots by hand
  • Ensure that all Food and Beverage outlets are provided with clean and sanitised operating equipment
  • Use correct handling techniques to transport and store food items
  • Wipe down benches & sweep and mop floors
  • Knowledge of chemical handling and food handling
  • Ability to work flexible hours across a 24 hour business 

Role Essentials:

  • Current Police Check (dated no more than 6 months) or the ability to obtain one for work
  • Manual licence
  • Food Handling certificate 
  • Ability to relocate for work
