Captain Cook Cruises WA have been cruising the waterways of Perth since 1980. SeaLink/Captain Cook Cruises WA operate a fleet of vessels cruising into the Swan Valley, Perth to Fremantle & out to Rottnest Island.

About the role
Captain Cook Cruises, Perth's Premier Cruise Company is looking for fun, vibrant singers to entertain guests on our Famous Vineyard Cruises that operate on the picturesque Swan River.
We operate cruises 7 days and 7 nights a week from Barrack Square in Perth, whether it is a full day wine cruise to the Swan Valley or a starlight evening cruise, there is plenty of variety in this very rare and exciting environment.
We are currently offering the following position: Singer/Deckhand (Entertainer)
The Entertainer is responsible for making sure that the guests on board receive high standards of customer service and entertainment.
Your responsibilities will include but by no means be restricted to:
- Setting up vessels ready for service
- Boarding passengers
- Drink service
- Wine tasting speech (scripted)
- Onboard table service
- Singing to passengers
- Cleaning of vessel during and after service
The primary function of the Deckhand / Entertainer (singer) role is guest service, duties relevant to the vessel’s operations including but not limited to, moorings and departures or docking and providing on-board entertainment to guest. Maintenance of vessel presentation, stores, food and beverage duties and assisting with passenger boarding and disembarking.
The Deck Hand responsibilities include provision of excellence in guest service, food and beverage tasks and duties relevant to the vessel’s operations including but not limited to, moorings and departures or docking, passenger boarding and disembarking, performing general cleaning duties throughout the vessel including decks, bar, toilets, buffet area galley onshore facilities and storage and engine spaces. Responsibility for all aspects of food and beverage service including set up of the dining area and buffet, waiter service, polishing cutlery and glasses, stocking vessel and stock rotation, preparing condiments and folding of napkins. Provision of efficient, safe and hygienic service. Upselling onboard food and beverage products.
